Eric Freking, Conference Evangelist

The Indiana Conference leadership is currently looking for “Ignition” churches that we can strategically partner with for growth - churches where there is a strong commitment to evangelism and a willingness to engage in an ongoing cycle of soul-winning - places where evangelism becomes a lifestyle of the church.   Pray that your church can be an “Ignition” church – a flashpoint that ignites Indiana for Jesus!

Ignite Indiana! Reaching Hearts in 2020

Do you like to be where the action is?  If so, imagine being at the flashpoint of an evangelistic firestorm that could spread through the North American Division!  In the next two years, Ignite Indiana could be that flashpoint, and here’s why.

Between now and the end of 2020, an explosive combination of people, programs, and events will come together in the Hoosier state.  Training events, Bible studies, small group gatherings, compassion ministries, synchronized evangelistic meetings, medical missionary outreach, and even the General Conference session – all taking place within the borders of the Indiana Conference.  But here’s the question – “Will you be a part of the action?”

In coming weeks and months, you will have many opportunities to help Ignite Indiana for Jesus. Since every church district is planning for an evangelistic meeting during April and May of 2020, you will have the opportunity to participate as a speaker, a greeter, an usher, a prayer coordinator, or in some other important role.  You’ll see precious souls come to Christ, while learning Bible truths, through your efforts and influence.  So when calls are made for evangelism volunteers, plan now to say with Isaiah, “Here I am, send me.”  Your pastor or local Ignite Indiana Coordinator will find a way for you to get involved in winning souls. With such emphasis on evangelistic meetings, we need to remember that evangelism is a process, not just an event.  Before the public meetings are held, there are other phases of the evangelism cycle where your involvement is critical for success.  You’ll be hearing about plans for spiritual revival in your church, about training for outreach, and about ways to retain the harvest of souls that will come in.  As each phase unfolds, personally commit to attend and participate. Get yourself revived, equipped and involved in sharing Christ with others who desperately need Him.  Be a part of the action!
